Book Bio Submission Form

You should choose a book bio when you want to showcase one, specific book.

A book bio is $10 and will appear on the Index permanently.

What exactly is a Book Bio? It allows you to share the life of your book with readers; how it was conceived, birthed and grew to be what you eventually published.

Your Vitals

  • There can only be one book per book bio

Your Photo

  • A picture of your book cover will not be used in place of a picture of you. If you do not provide an acceptable photo, a silhouette will be used instead.

Your Book

  • The image you submit should be AT LEAST 620px in width. An image smaller than this is going to distort on some pages on the site.

  • Press enter twice to indicate a new paragraph. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS. Sentence case only. If you don’t follow this instruction, your excerpt will be one big block of text with no breaks. An excerpt is NOT the same as the synopsis; it should be several pages from the actual text to pique the readers’ curiosity to make them want to purchase your book.

Where can readers buy this book?

  • Don’t box them in. Depending on how your book was published, and whether it has an ISBN, it’s possible that it is available on sites that you’re not even aware of. IAI searches all the sites listed below to see if your book is listed there.

    IAI is a one-woman show. Please help me speed up the process of getting your content in front of readers by taking the time to check each of the sites listed. To make it easier for you, I have included links to each site, which will open in a new window. If you find your book listed, simply copy and paste the link into the field. Do NOT include the “search” link. Please go to the book page, and include the link directly to your book.
