IAI Author Referral Program
Refer authors to the Independent Author Index and earn a referral fee!
IAI has a flexible referral program in that you can choose one of six rates as your referral fee for the authors you refer.
You can refer authors at the regular set-up fee or choose to offer them a discounted rate.
See the following chart for discounted rates and the referral fee you’ll make at each level:

You don’t need a special code to participate.
Once you’ve been accepted into the referral program, you will receive a link to a “Join IAI” form created especially for you. When your referrals use your link, then you will receive credit for their membership.
Each time you reach $25.00 in commissions, you will receive a payout via PayPal.
You must have a PayPal account to participate in the IAI Referral Program.
Before you can receive your first payout, you will need to fill in, sign and submit a form W-9 for tax purposes. You can scan the form, or even take a picture of it, and email to IAI.
If you receive $600 or more in commissions, then the Internal Revenue Service requires IAI to report it to them and you are required to claim the income through a form 1099 that IAI will provide to you.
