Jorge Majfud
Jorge’s Bio:
Jorge Majfud is an accomplished Latino author who has written stories, essays and many novels. He was born in 1969 in Uruguay and studied architecture at the Universidad de la Republica in Montevideo. He later earned a Ph.D. from the University of Georgia. His extensive travels inspired many of his essays and novels. Dr. Majfud’s writings have been published in magazines as well as newspapers, radio, TV, and have been translated into multiple languages including French, Italian, German, Portuguese and Greek. Jorge Majfud is an important voice for Hispanic immigrants in the USA and is considered to be one of the most important writers of his generation within Latino intellectual society. Currently, Jorge Majfud teaches at Jacksonville University.
