Kelly’s Bio:

Kelly Matsuura grew up in Australia, and graduated from Victoria University with a degree in Asian Studies. She has lived in China and the USA, and now lives permanently in Nagoya, Japan, with her husband.

Her writing focuses on fantasy and contemporary stories with Asian characters and/or settings, however she enjoys writing western-style stories occasionally as well.

She is a preliminary reader for The Wild Rose Press, and has several paranormal romance novellas she hopes to complete and publish in 2013.

Stirring Winds is her first independent publication however she has other short stories published online and in multi-author collections. Two more Japanese stories will be included in the Index’s upcoming short story compilations, volume 2 and 3.
