kimberly’s Bio:
Born a Navy baby in Nova Scotia Canada, I learned quickly to crave change. No consistency had entered my life with the exception of change. An introvert though you would not know I was completely gifted of change when my recently deceased father in law said that writing would heal sometime ago. He did not lie. He still holds a critical part in being my greatest influence. My obsession is held in a love of writing, and also my greatest fear and insecurity in in writing. Having no education, I had fears to fall short of being read yet my imagination. I write from the heart of pure truth and emotion in attempts to touch a reader that can relate, and needs to be touched. Also as a poet of many categories I enjoy the flow the serenity it does bring me.
I have spent the better part of 25 years in Advertising working on global accounts as a broadcast producer and account supervisor. I secretly would write, scared to show anyone in fear of not being worthy to write. Seven years ago I took the plunge and began writing for different sites. I have never been able to not write. I have won editor choice awards and poet of the year, and while exhausting am so rewarded by the self-publishing 3 books recently. Two poetry and one novel as the latest both in ebook and softcover. I often laugh when I look at my wall here and read my homemade poster ‘I have no job, and keep odd hours. Both personally and professionally I am very fortunate.
