She had gone to the bar last night crying, drinking, and depressed that she’d just caught Tim
sucking another girl’s tits in a car behind Club Push. Derek was there with his boys but when he saw Charity he knew she needed someone to talk to being a sucker for a woman in distress. He decided to console her for the rest of the evening. They laughed talking about old funny movies all night, a technique he had used on saddened women all too many times. When the last call was made in the bar, they were having too much fun to let the night end so quick. Apparently, they figured out something else to get into.
“What the hell? We can never speak of this again! I can’t believe we…”
“We what? We had a good time? We had some great sex? You are more of a woman than Brit will ever be. My only mistake was choosing the wrong girl.” Derek walked over to Charity straddling her arms pulling her closer to him. She could feel the heat of his loins massaging her bare blushed skin.
“You’re getting married in three months! This will never work. Please leave.”
“But Char, listen…” He pleaded.
“Please leave!”
Derek was never one to disrespect a lady. He angrily grabbed the remainder of his clothes and stormed out slamming the doors behind him. Charity tried to forget about the events that took place last night as she scurried to shower and get dressed. She was just about done when she hawked herself down in the mirror finishing her makeup. The shame she felt couldn’t over power the feelings she felt inside for Derek. He was like a dream come true but he belonged to someone else. She grabbed her beige and red Birkin bag then headed out for the barbeque.
