Mari lives in the high desert town of Twentynine Palms in Southern California. She has been a collector, bookkeeper, and was once a Super Advanced Agent for Nintendo of America. She has published two novels. Her short stories have appeared in the Desert Writers Guild anthologies, HOWL, and independent electronic publishers. The Desert Writers Guild elected her as their Coordinator. She serves as a Director on the Twentynine Palms Historical Society’s Board of Directors and as the congregational secretary for Good Shepherd Luther Church. She claims her most significant achievements are the wonderful years of marriage, and being the mother and grandmother of a loving, nurturing family.
Her current projects are two stories for the next Desert Writers Guild anthology and the publication of her next novel, Earthbound.
