Before Reading:

I praise you, Lord, because you have provided your word for study. I commit this time to you, and ask that you speak directly to my heart. Give me understanding according to your perfect will for my life today. I thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus’ Name. Amen

Read Psalm 1-5 Prayer:

Dear Lord,

I praise you for the promises found in your Word. Thank you for surrounding me with your shield of love. My enemies are no match for your awesome power, strength, and will. Though they plot continuously to destroy me, you have given me victory in Jesus’ Name. Amen

Lead me in the right path, O LORD, or my enemies will conquer me. Tell me clearly what to do, and show me which way to turn. Psalm 5:8

Day 2

I am sick at heart. How long, O LORD, until you restore me? Psalm 6:3

Before Reading:

Lord Jesus, please prepare my heart to receive all that you’ve ordained for me this day. I praise you because you know beginning, middle, and end. Guide my steps and mind to a more intimate knowledge of your ways. I ask this in Jesus’ Precious Name. Amen

Read Psalm 6-10

Prayer:

Dear Lord,

Your Word says that you hear me crying out to you, and you will come to my rescue. I praise you because every word proves true. Please remove this spirit of fear from me so that I may hear your truth being spoken to my spirit. Help me to see anything in my life that’s blocking my blessings. I submit those things to you, and trust you to continue to work in my life according your will. I praise you for hearing and answering my prayer. In Jesus’ Name I walk in the favor and blessing of the Lord! Amen

Day 3

Before Reading:

O Lord, my soul is weak and my spirit is clothed in anxiety. Your word promises that you’ve sent angels to encamp around me. Please charge them to minister to my spirit so that your peace will reign in my heart, mind, and soul. I praise you because you provide everything I need. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. I receive your peace in Jesus’ Name. Amen

But I trust in your unfailing love. I will rejoice because you have rescued me. Psalm 13:5

Day 4

I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O GOD. Bend down and listen as I pray. Psalm 17:6

Before Reading: Lord, please calm my spirit and prepare my heart for the message you have for me. Teach me to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit’s teaching. Help me to be responsive to all I learn. Thank you, Jesus. Amen

Read Psalm 16-20

Prayer:

Dear Lord,

It seems as if the walls are closing in around me, and I can’t see a way out. But, I will continue to praise you because you know beginning, middle, and you’ve already prepared the way to the end. Thank you for promising to provide all of my needs. I praise you because you are faithful. Thank you for loving me and giving your son as a sacrifice for me. Amen

Lord, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. Psalm 16:5a

Day 5

We praise you, LORD, for all your glorious power. Psalm 21:13a

Before Reading:

Praise Jesus! I will praise you all day long, and remember all you’ve done for me. From the moment I awake until I lay down to rest, I will praise your name. Please speak to my heart, and hide your Word deep inside so that I will honor you in all my ways. Amen

Read Psalm 21-25

Prayer:

Dear Lord, Your Word tells me you are a merciful God. Please show mercy to your servant, Lord. Forgive me and cleanse me. Bless me. I thank you for hearing my cry, and coming to my rescue. I praise you; for victory is at hand. My hope and trust are in you alone. I thank you that I can bring my cares directly to you, and that you promise to move on my behalf. To God be the glory. In Jesus’ Name I pray these things. Amen

Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the GOD who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. Psalm 25:5
