. Changes Do Not Happen Overnight
. Consider the harm that is a consequence of the negative words or affirmations that are either spoken over you or that you knowingly or subconsciously tell yourself day after day. These words or negative mindsets may have been unconsciously acquired from our family, upbringing or environment. No matter how long these have affected you, you can change this wrong thinking pattern. You can replace this through positive affirmations.
. Have you heard the phrase “rock solid”? It is generally used to define something hard and unchangeable. But, when the same rock is constantly hit by small droplets of water, it gradually erodes away and changes shape over time. Affirmations act like the water droplets on our subconscious mind. Fortunately, rather than being rock solid, the mind is pliable. When you faithfully meditate on and repeat positive affirmations, you will change the thought patterns, habits and images embedded in your subconscious mind.
. It does not suffice to repeat an affirmation once or twice, or for a few days. You need to keep meditating on it and repeating it again and again till it is firmly embedded in your subconscious mind. Allow the affirmations to become your own – believed and personal to you – through repeated meditation and speaking.
