Sell your print book on IAI

  • Some publishing companies require authors to buy their own books in quantity to get a decent discount.
  • If you find yourself in this situation, you can sell your print books directly through IAI.
  • Please understand that IAI will not ship your books for you. Shipping, handling and returns are your responsibility.
  • It is FREE to have your print book(s) listed for sale on IAI’s site.
  • You determine the price of your book(s).
  • Payments will be collected by IAI through PayPal.
  • 15% of the profit for members and 25% of the profit for non-members will be deducted as IAI’s commission on each book sold.
  • Profit is determined after the fees assessed by PayPal.
  • Once commissions are deducted, and the remainder of your profits total $25, you will receive a payout through PayPal.
  • The fees collected by IAI will not be refunded to you if a customer requests a refund.

  • Feel free to submit as many books as you like, but please do it one submission at a time.

  • Begin each new paragraph with the following: [NP]. DO NOT USE ALL CAPS. Sentence case only. If you don’t follow this instruction, your excerpt will be one big block of text with no breaks. An excerpt is NOT the same as the synopsis; it should be several pages from the actual text to pique the readers’ curiosity to make them want to purchase your book.
