Shirley Ford
Shirley’s Bio:
Shirley Ford now lives in Dorset with her husband and little rescue dog called Bailey, after a lifetime moving around England and Wales. She is retired from full time work and now devotes many hours to writing. She published a book of poetry last year, called There Is Hope, under the pen-name Lucy Green. The poems are a collection describing her emotions regarding family break-ups and loss of contact with grandchildren. It was a very cathartic exercise and enabled Shirley Ford to move forward with her life.
Her first novel – Every Why – is now available as a Kindle book and she is busily writing the sequel.
Shirley Ford runs a writing group in her local village called the Jurassic Coast Writers. She belongs to a local book club, a country dancing group, but one of her passions is Tai Chi, she regularly attends classes and recently took part in World Tai Chi Day in Exeter in Devon. The love of her life is Bailey her dog.
