Your Vitals

• One Author Per Profile There can only be one author per profile, even if your book has two or more authors. Each author has to have his/her own profile, and IAI will link each profile to the same book. See an example.
• Your name as it appears on your book *this will be the name used for your author profile
• Keywords/Key Phrases that describe you *please include at least one; separate each word or phrase with a comma; examples of keywords would be: author, writer, novelist, poet, self-published, indie-published, speaker
• Where are you located? *in your profile, there will be a line that says “This author is writing from…” It could be a city, state or country. Don’t attempt to be “clever.” Locations like “from my livingroom” or “out in the wilderness” are not acceptable. It’s possible that someone may be looking for a writer in your area for a speaking engagement or a book signing, and you’ll have taken yourself out of the running, because you think it’s brilliant to be snarky.

• This should be a picture of you ALONE, not in a group setting. Even if you are part of a book that has more than one author. This is YOUR profile.
